Course Objectives

This course will introduce principles and strategies that allow teachers to support struggling learners and extend learning for advanced learners. Through selected topics and activities, participants will learn how to vary their lesson for differentiation, as well as design principles for a classroom that supports those strategies. Participants will learn useful ideas and practices that they can apply in the classroom.

Teachers will come away with the skills to offer rich problems to pupils who grasp concepts rapidly, and consolidate the learning of those who are not sufficiently fluent.
