MPH Science Textbook aims to stimulate the young minds of pupils and kindle their interest to find out about things around them.
Developed
to meet the new syllabus requirements set by the Singapore Ministry of
Education, this Textbook presents science facts in an interesting and
exciting way. Amusing illustrations and bountiful photographs make the
learning of science come alive. Topics are organized thematically.
Examples are taken from things which pupils encountered every day so
that they can better appreciate them.
To make the study of Science more interesting, the following features have been included:
- Group & Share provides thought-provoking questions to stimulate thinking and discussion
- Bits 'n' Bites provides pupils with interesting tidbits related to the topic being taught.
- Cool
to Do recommends activities including those that involve the use of
Information Technology. These encourage independent exploration beyond
curriculum time.
- At a glance gives an overall view of the topic through the use of concept maps.
