in learning more about how Mathematics and English are taught in
Singapore and how those methods
can be applied.

Ling Yuan, Catholic High Primary School, Singapore
Ling has taught primary school for over ten years in Singapore and
currently holds the Head of Science post at the Catholic High Primary
School in Singapore. Ling teaches mainstream Science and Science for
gifted students, as well as Mathematics and English. Ling is an
experienced practitioner of the Singapore methods of teaching and will
explain how students in Singapore are taught mathematics including the
famous model method and other hueristics that are found in the texbooks
and workbooks in Singapore.

Khairi has been involved in the adoption of the Singapore math
programme around the world including the United States, South America,
Africa, Middle East and Asia. Khairi will explain how the programme came
to be and what the key attributes behind it are.
